Celebrating eight years of trailblazing success in the K-pop and global music scene, Blackpink is set to make 2025 a monumental year yet.
The K-pop superstars recently announced plans for a highly anticipated new album and a world tour, much to the delight of their super fans, Blinks.
YG Entertainment’s founder and Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk revealed the news on Dec. 1, sharing that the “How You Like That” girls would be headlining a global concert tour next year.

Fans can look forward to a tour that spans multiple continents, with stops in North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
This follows the global success of the “Born Pink” world tour, which set records as one of the highest-grossing tours by a female group.
Blackpink member and Billboard US chart-topper Rosé expressed the group’s excitement about the upcoming album and tour.
“We’re thrilled to be reconnecting with BLINKS worldwide and showcasing our new music,” she shared.
The album is said to highlight the girl group’s artistic evolution while retaining their signature bold and stylish sound like “Kill this Love,” Pink Venom,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU” among many more hit songs, with rumors swirling about potential collaborations with prominent international artists.

The announcement, made through YG Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, also teased a series of exciting projects for other YG artists, marking 2025 as a banner year for the agency.
“The year 2025 is a year when many events will unfold for YG including activities from TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, and AKMU. WINNER is also planning a tour. And it’s a significant year as BLACKPINK’s world tour kicks off,” he shared.
