The global ranking of Indian passport dropped five places to 85 from earlier 80, according to the Henley Passport Index 2025. The current rank enables Indian passport holders to travel visa-free to 57 global destinations. As per the current rankingnaga casino, India shares its position with Equatorial Guinea and Niger.

Based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Henley Passport Index every year ranks all 199 passports according to the number of destinations they can access visa-free.

Who's on top?

After 2024, Singapore has reclaimed the top rank as the world's strongest passports, in 2025 as well. According to the Henley Passport Index, a Singapore passport holder is eligible to travel visa-free to 195 destinations across the world.

Who's at the bottom?

As per the latest 2025 ranking, Pakistan and Yemen share the 103rd position on the Henley Passport Index. Both Pakistani and Yemeni passports are eligible for visa-free access to only 33 countries followed by Iraq (31 countries), Syria and (27 countries) and Afghanistan (26 countries).

In 2018, the Asia Power Index report was first issued by The Lowy Institute, an Australian think tank. The evaluation of the index report encompasses 27 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.

US is notably absent in the first five ranks. Being the second-biggest faller between 2015 and 2025 after Venezuela, the rank of US has dropped by seven places from 2nd to its current 9th position.
